I like the vending machine idea, especially when some people have to wait 30 minutes or so for the next bus to come.

I like the idea for the solar panel to power the vending machine/heating or cooling system. However the sliding glass door can turn it into a room where those who have no homes can sleep to escape the weather, discouraging others from going in.

Way to stay green with the solar panel!! Does it power the vending machine? Good Idea! I like that it is covered to protect against the elements. Good design!

Heat! A huge issue, and a big turn off when thinking about riding the bus. No one likes to be cold. Just not sure how well everything would be maintained with all of the people riding, not everyone has respect for nice things.

Good Idea to have a vending machine. It's nice having a sliding glass door depending on weather

I love the idea of the vending machine. Being stuck somewhere is terrible enough, being stuck somewhere hungry is even worse.

I personally like this drawing because I would enjoy this type of bus stop. The vending machine could make UTA money. I also like the sliding doors. They would definitely be used during the winter so that it traps the heat inside. Solar panels would play a huge part during the winter too.

Nothing too out of the ordinary…but something like adding a vending machine and sliding glass doors could help encourage people to use the bus system. Food is always welcome, and could add money to the bus company, and glass doors can keep in heat during the winter, and be opened in the summer when it’s hot. There is also the potential for a solar panel on the top either to power the vending machine, or perhaps a cheaper form of a heating and cooling system.
